Massimo Bartolini is one of the most prestigious and recognized Italian artists of recent generations.

Operating within a framework that is conventionally called the "expanded field of sculpture" – somewhere between architecture, urbanism and performance – the artist transforms the spaces in which he decides to work through unique uses of architectural elements, light and sound, generating paradoxical spatial experiences of great physical intensity.

In Serralves, the artist will present a new project as well as two older pieces.
