Films and Videos by Robert Morris documents all the filmography by Robert Morris. This publication belongs to a larger series of monographs, dedicated to the production of the artist and published in co-edition with the acclaimed Sonnabend Gallery in New York.

Includes unedited essays by David Duncan and Chrissie Iles, as well as commentary by Cara Manes.

Robert Morris (Kansas City, 1931) has been one of the major protagonists of the paradigm shift in contemporary artistic languages since the 1960s and 70s. He has promoted improvisation and collaboration between visual arts and dance, intersecting minimalist language with process art in works that find their moments of presentation outside gallery or museum spaces, creating large-scale artistic projects in the landscape (earthworks).

The artist's films and videos take the form of some of the most innovative experiments concerning the relationship between cinema and visual and performative arts in the second half of the 20th century.
