Mário Cesariny had conceived the project in the early days of the Carnation Revolution in April 1974, when the long years of the repressive dictatorship finally ended . In June 1977, he took us to the impressive old Império typography, on Rua do Salitre, in Lisbon, to see the proofs that were being prepared for final correction.
