Designed by Gonçalo Sena dos Atlas Projectos, the publication accompanies the Novo Banco Revelação 2014 exhibition, and includes, in addition to images of the winning projects, essays on the works of Patrícia Bandeira and Sofia Lopes Borges (by Raquel Freire and Fernando Poeiras, respectively). ), a text by the Brazilian historian João Adolfo Hansen that contextualizes the work of Lúcia Prancha and a poem by António Barahona selected by Pedro Henriques.

Novo Banco Revelação is an initiative of the bank in partnership with the Serralves Foundation that aims to encourage the production and artistic creation of young Portuguese talents, based on a logic of dissemination, launch and support to all those who use the medium of photography. The contest is aimed at artists of Portuguese nationality, or foreigners residing in Portugal, with a limit age of 30 years (at the closing date of applications) and the theme of the project is free. 

This catalog was edited on the occasion of the exhibition curated by Filipa Loureiro and Ricardo Nicolau, on display at the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art from October 17, 2014 to January 11, 2015.
