Originals Whisky 350 ml, SNIPPERS
With this bottle you can turn a clear liqueur into whisky. The wood chips inside the bottle come from crushed Scotch whisky barrels that have been used to make whisky for decades. The smoky flavor will be released after adding a clear liqueur, as if you were aging your liqueur in a whisky barrel.
1 Add liqueur
Start by adding a clear liqueur, such as Vodka or Dry Gin. Always make sure the drink contains at least 30% alcohol. Don't add whisky, as it will hardly have any effect. On the label, write down the date of the bottle and the type of drink you used. If possible, try using leftover alcoholic drinks you have at home.
2 The ageing process
After filling the bottle, leave it to age in a cool, dark place. The wood chips will slowly begin to release their smoky whisky flavor and warm color. Don't hesitate to taste it from time to time to experience how the flavors develop over time. This process takes approximately eight weeks, but feel free to find out what happens if you let it age longer.
3 Serve your own whisky
After eight weeks, it's time to serve your own Whisky. Filter or pour the liquor carefully before drinking. Make sure you don't spill any wood chips in the glass. Also, never eat the wood chips.
