The Serralves Foundation Collection is not only a repository of memory but also one of the bases on what the contemporary moment and the future is built on - the future of Serralves. 

The project of inventorying, digitizing, computerizing and disseminating the Serralves Foundation collection, co-financed by the European Union through the Operational Program for Culture, of which this book is an integral part, was developed in order to allow the sharing of the memory that builds this collection is the starting point not only for its (re)knowledge but above all for its broad study, passing through its dissemination.
