These publications bring together the communications given in the scope of the conferences held during the Park's recovery period, which are reflective in terms of the history and criticism of the gardens, which in turn, do not fail to reflect two distinct moments, either in the first and second volume, texts that focus on a new phase in the life of the Park, dealing with the management and performance of green spaces on a metropolitan scale, in the search for models of sustainability and network organization.

Volume I includes communications on the theme "Landscape: Time and Memory", "Landscape and Modernism: Space and Ideology" and "Landscape and Architecture: Topology and Typology" that take place between 2002 and 2005.

Volume II includes communications on "Management of Green Spaces" and "The Metropolitan Landscape: Ecology and Sustainability" that took place from 2008 to 2009.
