It features essays by Jochen Volz and Júlia Rebouças, already published in the Bienal's original catalogue, as well as interviews with guest architects conducted by João Ribas.

After the successful partnership with the Bienal de São Paulo in 2015, the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art presented, on June 30, 2017 to May 1, 2018, an exhibition based on this edition of the Bienal entitled "Live Uncertainty :An exhibition from the 32nd Bienal de São Paulo”.

With projects by 14 artists and collectives, the exhibition is carried out by the Bienal de São Paulo Foundation in collaboration with the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art. Organized with a view to a common understanding of the importance of relations between Brazil and Portugal in the artistic sphere, the initiative seeks to expand the impact and scope of the Bienal and demonstrates the commitment of both institutions to the dissemination of contemporary art at a global level. .
