The book, entirely conceived by Nick Mauss, can be considered one of the lasting works that result from the artist's exhibition at Casa de Serralves from June 22 to September 24, 2017.

The exhibition, purposefully created for the spaces of Casa de Serralves, demonstrates Mauss' interest in staging, scenography and his insistence on maintaining the provisional nature of the work in its relationship with drawing as an intimate, direct and yet irresolvable way.

It includes an interview with the artist conducted by João Ribas, deputy director and senior curator of the Museum, and an essay by the American author and poet Lucy Ives.
