The main objective of the publication “Glamour: Glamour: arte seduzida e sedutora” is to provide access to critical texts by recognized authors, artists and critics that are not translated into Portuguese, fundamental for the understanding and study of contemporary art.

Edited by Isabel Carlos – volume nº 03 of the collection was dedicated to the exploration of concepts and artists linked to art and glamour, and investigated the social, cultural and economic circumstances, and the starting point was the Francesco Vezzoli show at the museum of Serralves in 2005, which precisely embodied and explored the idea of ​​glamour, seduction, art and installation with an exhibition at Casa de Serralves.

It brings together essays by Jeremy Gilbert-Rolfe “Beauty”, Donald Kuspitt “The Problem of Art in the Age of Glamour”, Kevin Power “Andy Warhol: Life as Style”, Alexandre Melo “The Black Flowers of Robert Mapplethorpe”, Edgar Morin “The Twilight of the Star System”, Marcella Beccaria “Fragments of an Amorous Speech”, Brigitte Ulmer “Magical Substance” and an excerpt from Oscar Wilde “The Picture of Dorian Gray”. Extensively illustrated, this publication contains comments on selected works.
