The book contains an introduction by João Fernandes (Director of the Museum), a text by Ulrich Loock (Deputy Director), which contextualizes the work of Sílvia Bächli in the art scene, a set of questions-answers between the artist and Hans Rudolf Reust and ends with a text by Maja Naef.

Illustrating the catalogue, numerous works by the artist were reproduced in an exhibition context.

The Swiss artist began exhibiting in the early 1980s. Since then, and with the exception of a few photographs, her preferred medium is drawing with varied themes, but always using black and white, or more correctly, the absence of color.
