This mug is part of the line of decorative objects inspired by the work “Plantoir”
The wavy configuration and the vibrant red tone of this piece emphasize the originality and simplicity of this collection.
The Plantoir collection is a line of contemporary design objects and accessories that promote the Serralves Foundation's heritage. Each of the pieces in this line is an excellent option as gift, decorative object or collector's item.
The Plantoir sculpture, designed by Claes Oldenburg & Coosje van Bruggen, was installed in Serralves Park for the exhibition "Pelo Passeio dos Liquidâmbares: Sculpture in the Park" in 2001.
Due to its location at the main entrance to Serralves Park, and for being visible from outside the Foundation's walls, "Plantoir" is today one of the most iconic and identifying images of Serralves.
