Box Handle Ruhlmann Large
Member Price
The Ruhlmann knob-shaped box is inspired by one of the details of the knob at Casa de Serralves and is part of the collection of timeless decorative objects that pay homage to Serralves' heritage.
An object to display your jewelry or to display in your home space as a decorative accessory.
The windows of the House were a constructive solution made by Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, produced by the French company Borderel & Rovert, specialized in sash windows. This box is a tribute and reference to the handles of these windows.
Conceived as a private residence, Casa de Serralves and the surrounding Park resulted from a project requested by the second Count of Vizela, Carlos Alberto Cabral (1895−1968) for the land rather than a family summer farm in Porto activities.
Designed and built between 1925 and 1944, the House is considered the most notable example of an art deco building in Portugal, having been formed as a Property of Public Interest in 1996.
In 2012 the built and natural heritage of the Serralves Foundation was granted National Monument status.
