Catalog launched during Eugène Green's exhibition "The image of the word", on display at Serralves from November, 2019 to February, 2020.

On the occasion of the first retrospective exhibition of Eugène Green's work in Portugal, Casa do Cinema Manoel de Oliveira published a bilingual book (Portuguese / French) with unpublished essays by António Preto, Edith de la Héronnière, Laura Tullier, Javier H. Estrada, Jacinto Lageira and Ricardo Vieira Lisboa. It also includes texts by Eugène Green and filmography.

Extensively illustrated with images from throughout the filmmaker's oeuvre, this book is the most comprehensive survey of Green's work published to date.
