The App installed on an iPhone or Smartphone allows you to emit a sound on the Chipolo to facilitate the location of the object (distance up to 60m), or by pressing the Chipolo button, ring an alarm on your mobile phone. It also alerts if Chipolo moves away from the cell phone.

If you lose the object, the App shows its last known location on a map; if you report the object as lost, other Chipolo users can help you find it (1 million active users in 2019).
