Serralves presents a new Pocket Guide, a publication focused on 59 emblematic species of fauna and flora present at Quinta de Serralves, highlighting some aromatic, vegetable and fruit species existent in the Vegetables Garden and Aromatic's Garden, as well as the autochthonous breeds that cohabit the Farm.

Rich in scientific illustration, it is an excellent tool to support the identification of species, whether based on their morphological characterization or because of the cultural and functional curiosities of each one.

The narrative of the Pocket Guide, translates an encounter between the scientific dimension and the artistic and unique language of illustration, a link between the illustrations of the artist Francisco Eduardo and texts by the researcher Rui Oliveira, in a promotion of the dissemination and communication of science and literacy of the gaze.
