Fuga Para O Tempo Presente – O Leve Poder Da Lua Apenas Queima Os Olhos sees Dance as ethos and impermanence, vertigo in the now, the finitude of precipitated beings, fragile presence, metamorphosis of the momentary, an attentive blade in which “The Knife Does Not Cut the Fire”, but the fire tears through times of unrepeatable events. As a mythical experience of dancing with delirium and ethical rigour the intimate feeling that is fact, of centring now the “fingerprint for eternity” against disappearance to which geopolitics bears witness by murdering presents, enacting horror, demanding responses of otherness artistically centred on the heart of Dance that de-banalise the present amidst the disgust of the monstrous. It confronts the conflict Instant-Eternity, Permanence-Impermanence, Ethos-Pathos-Logos, with movements occupying the instant, in order to foster relevance in the fragile present, a crucial path of resilience, in the defragmentation of identity through all (im)possible beings in the fragility of the now. Escape into the Present that vibrates in eyes burned by the re-contemplation of suffering so that, from impermanence of action to impermanence of action, resilience does not lose its life in the fragile present.
