Miguel was a sweet boy who, despite his young age, did everything he could to help the environment, but to no avail. Alone, he would never be able to change the world.
One day, as he hurriedly left home on his way to school, he spotted something very strange… The boy was incredulous; he could not believe what his eyes were seeing! He wondered how something like this could happen in the 21st century. However, everyone around him seemed indifferent to the situation unfolding before them, even though it jeopardised the future of humanity. With the constant help of Matilde, a very special friend, Miguel proved that, after all, each one of us can change the world with the simplest of gestures!
Ana Clara da Silva was born in Almada in 2007 and grew up in Seixal, where she has pursued her schooling and won literary prizes in competitions of this kind. The literary universe has always been an integral part of her world; at just nine years old, she wrote her first short story, which was published in a school context. At the age of twelve, with the main aim of changing mindsets and raising awareness of a subject of great importance to us all, she began writing her first work, now published. This is the fulfilment of a wish, built on the premise that it will be the first of many narratives!
