Although O Menino Guardador de Folhas is considered a children's story, it's actually for all ages. The main theme revolves around gardens and focuses on many pertinent current issues linked to inclusion, nature and more. 

Environmental education is the central theme of this narrative (gardens, tree leaves and herbariums...) in a context shared between the fields of science, literature, art and citizenship.
