Tiago Saraiva is a professor in the history department at Drexel University in Philadelphia. He has a degree from the Instituto Superior Técnico and a doctorate from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He was a researcher at the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Lisbon from 2005 to 2012 and a visiting professor at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and Berkeley. He is co-editor of the journal History and Technology and co-organizer of the Cambridge History of Technology.
