The catalog was published in 2012, during the documentary exhibition, "Almada, a name of war", by Ernesto de Sousa.
Ernesto de Sousa was one of the first artists in Portugal to understand the rupture that manifested itself, inside and outside the country, in the work of a new generation of contemporary artists.
He was also one of the first to understand this paradigm shift brought about by the artistic manifestations of the 1960s and 70s: the question was no longer to find new paths for painting, sculpture, photography, music, literature, to the movies.
The bigger question confronted the nature of art itself, redefining the art object itself.
