This book accompanies the exhibition of the same name and features all photographs on display, along with others especially selected by the artist for this publication. The book documents the artist’s journey through Moldova and reveals his effort to understand and capture the essence of a territory full of contrasts. It features essays by Sofia Silva (co-founder of Tira-Olhos – Association of Experimental Photography) and Ricardo Nicolau, curator of the exhibition.

Miguel Marquês (Braga, 1996) is the young photographer selected by Serralves for the return of the novobanco REVELAÇÃO, an initiative aimed at supporting young artists in the field of photography.
