The exhibition Arriving Without Leaving by Rui Chafes is accompanied by a publication consisting of two volumes, the first of which, features texts written by the exhibition curators and especially commissioned contributions by authors who have been following the artist’s career over the last few decades: Armin Zweite, Doris von Drathen, Maria Filomena Molder, Nuno Crespo, and Ulrich Loock.

Furthermore, it includes a previously unpublished photographic essay which shows us, through the eyes of designer Pedro Falcão, images of the artist’s studio and his working methods.
