"Nadir, a Arte em Diáspora" is a collective work resulting from an initial publication in Revista Visuais with the title “Nadir, a Arte de uma Diaspora”. This thematic dossier on the artist Nadir Afonso consists of 10 unpublished essays and an offprint on the biography, bibliography, and work of Nadir Afonso.

In fact, and at the invitation of Professor Mauricius Martins Farina (from the postgraduate program in Visual Arts at Unicamp - Brazil), we were invited to coordinate a thematic dossier on Nadir Afonso, which had as its object the dissemination of Nadirian work in Brazil. .

This dossier (consisting of 10 unpublished essays and an offprint on the biography, bibliography, and work of Nadir Afonso) was published in 2019 (v.4, no. 7, 2018, online publication of February 2019). , ISSN 2447-13131). A non-unpublished essay by Adelaide Ginga, published in 2010, is now added to this dossier, as we consider it important to complement the historical review of the time of the Nadirian diaspora.
