This exhibition started with a collection of small car sales advertisements. Advertisements that are usually placed on the windshield, and that most of the time go unnoticed, invisible, and that are easily discarded.
Francisco Tropa collected them, interested in this anonymous and random imagery production. He selected a set of twenty-five different advertisements and turned them into large screen-printed images. These take over the walls of the Carmona e Costa Foundation. And among them are hidden other works by Tropa, more delicate, more contained, and which demand a different attention. They oblige the spectator to a special sense, demand another time, need selection, and demand another state of consciousness and alertness. [Filipa Oliveira].
