SIZA: 90 YEARS Box + Vol. 01 - Carlos Campos Morais, PÚBLICO
Volume 01 of the SIZA: 90 ANOS Collection, from the newspaper PÚBLICO, by Carlos Campos Morais.
In the style of a biographical review, the psychoanalyst and researcher Carlos Campos Morais reveals Álvaro Siza, the Man: from his childhood with his family to his school masters, from his friendships in the sixties to his first trip to Paris, from his unbuilt house in Arrábida to his office in Aleixo, from his compulsive drawing to the contemporary publication of his texts. This is perhaps the most intimate volume in the collection.
Includes a box as a gift to accomodate all 10 volumes of the collection.
Described as the "official biographer of Álvaro Siza", Carlos Campos Morais is a researcher and psychoanalyst. However, it was during his time as a physicist at LNEC that he first met the architect who would later become his friend. "Carlos Campos Morais tells us a bit about Siza and himself, from the time they met in the 1960s to the contemporary edition of his texts. From the days of the Cineclube do Porto to his first trip to Paris. From the transition from physicist to psychoanalyst or the unbuilt house that Álvaro Siza plans for him in Arrábida," is prefaced by António Choupina in volume 1 of the collection.
