To accompany the exhibition dedicated to the work of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet at Casa do Cinema Manoel de Oliveira, the Serralves Foundation published a bilingual catalogue featuring especially commissioned essays by António Preto (director of Casa do Cinema and curator of the exhibition), António Guerreiro (critic), Maria Filomena Molder (researcher and Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Universidade Nova de Lisboa) and Ute Holl (filmmaker and professor at Basel University) that shed new light on the work of Straub-Huillet. These are complemented by two reprinted texts, by Barbara Ulrich Straub (actress and collaborator of Straub) and Santos Zunzunegui (author and film historian), and by the transcription of a 1975 conversation that brought together Jean-Marie Straub, Danièle Huillet, Marcel Hanoun, Robert Kramer and Manoel de Oliveira.
