Teapot Carrara, Vista Alegre
The Carrara Teapot, in a very refined geometric approach, creates the illusion that each piece in the set can be transformed into another.
This collection is a meeting between porcelain and designs inspired by the noble Carrara marble, created by French designer Coline le Corre.
Contemporary in style, made with gold elements and hand-painted elements.
In 2017, the Carrara collection was awarded an honorable mention by the German Design Award and awarded a Red Dot Design Award.
Avoid frequent washing and for machine washing we advise short cycles at low temperatures.
Recommended not to use in the microwave.
Founded in 1824, Fábrica de Porcelana da Vista Alegre was the first industrial unit dedicated to the production of porcelain in Portugal. For the success of this industrial enterprise, the spirit and persistence of the founder José Ferreira Pinto Basto, a prominent figure in Portuguese society in the 19th century, an audacious agricultural owner, was important.
More than a factory space, Vista Alegre is today an architectural complex of undeniable interest, a repository of social and artistic memories fundamental to the construction of a national identity.
