Discover this skateboard triptych created by Anne Imhof for the exhibition FUN ist ein Stahlbad — an artist’s edition developed to celebrate the artist’s first presentation in Portugal.

Each set is a limited edition of 30, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

The three decks are produced in seven-ply Canadian maple wood and feature high-definition digital printing on both sides. The front side reveals ethereal cloud compositions in different tones, while the back displays the distinctive typography characteristic of Imhof’s visual universe.

This triptych bridges contemporary art and urban culture, reflecting the raw, performative and intensely visual aesthetic that defines the German artist’s work.

A functional and decorative piece, it can be used as a skateboard or displayed on the wall as an art object.

Made in Belgium.

All products were created by THE SKATEROOM in collaboration with Anne Imhof and the Serralves Store to celebrate FUN ist ein Stahlbad, the artist’s first individual exhibition in Portugal, held at the Serralves Museum.

Since 2014, THE SKATEROOM has worked on skate collections with the world’s most influential artists to empower international skate and education nonprofits & projects. As a proud B Corp, we embrace a social entrepreneurship model, while actively working to improve sustainability and transparency in our work.

Fun ist ein Stahlbad (Fun is a Steel Bath) is Anne Imhof’s first exhibition in Portugal and brings together a number of works mainly produced for Serralves Museum. At first, we are immersed in an uneasy hush where arrested bodies, dense structures, and spaces slow time down to a crawl. This nascent foreboding echoes our anxiety-ridden present, with its numerous dangers and precarious hopes and expectations. In these surroundings, the nuances of the title become abundantly clear.
