CEPA Siza Vieira is an original wine bottle coaster, designed by the prestigious architect Álvaro Siza. It is crafted from solid wood components meticulously carved by craftsmen from northern Portugal, reflecting both the precision and the poetry of his design.
A CEPA tribute to the appreciation of the wine ritual, through a piece that transforms the act of serving and enjoying wine into a distinctive gesture of art.
CEPA Siza Vieira emerges from the contrast between the cubic and the cylindrical, between the square in wood and the bottle in glass — a design that reconciles geometries and extends the gesture of serving.
“The support is cubic and in wood.
The bottle is cylindrical and in glass.
The design reconciles the geometries of the square and the circle.” — Álvaro Siza
CEPA proposes a new way of presenting and serving wine, interconnecting the bottle, the cork and the wine with the natural materials that are at the origin of its production and conservation.
CEPA creations celebrate wine and work with its symbols and characteristics, adding value to the ritual of transporting it, serving it, and placing the bottle elegantly on the table, transforming the ritual of serving into a complete sensory experience.
Clean it with a soft, smooth, dry cloth that is free of stains or dirt of any kind.
