Blue Circles Plate, Louise Bourgeois
Member Price
In collaboration with French artist Louise Bourgeois, Third Drawer Down Studio created a set of four fine bone china plates in partnership with Louise Bourgeois' studio, The Easton Foundation.
This plate is a stunning collectible art piece, perfect for showcasing in any space at home.
The imagery on each plate is taken from Louise’s fabric book Ode à l'Oubli (2004), featuring collages made from fragments of her old clothing and household items.
Each plate is sold individually, gift-boxed, and includes a postcard, making it an ideal gift for admirers of the artist.
Louise Bourgeois was a Franco-American artist who gained recognition late in her long career. Throughout her life, she created abstract sculptures, drawings, and prints, all imbued with deep psychological intensity. Louise lived to the age of 98.
Third Drawer Down first collaborated with her in 2008 for a retrospective at the Tate Museum. Since then, the studio has maintained an ongoing relationship with her legacy trust, The Easton Foundation, producing a series of objects inspired by her work, available here.
