Casa em Monsaraz, Aires Mateus

The House in Monsaraz is a handcrafted piece made by hand and in solid pine wood by Álvaro Negrello.
A timeless, unique piece, inspired by the house designed and designed by Aires Mateus in Monsaraz. A house that blends in with the landscape of the rural Alentejo, facing the infinite extension of the Alqueva lake. Using the topography, a cap is drawn that extends the social areas, making it the center of life in the house. Shaping the light in this space, another symmetrical cap intersects this one, creating an opening that illuminates this center with strict design and limits. The scale of the house in this vast natural landscape will be that of the upper patios and roof, the only visible elements painted in a luminous white.
Limited edition of 100 hand-numbered objects signed by Manuel Aires Mateus.
Ama is the first collection of AMAG OBJETCS, dedicated to the main works of architect Aires Mateus under the conceptual approach of Álvaro Negrello.
