The silhouette of the city of Dubai allows you to contemplate the best points of view to represent each one of them.
Dubai, located on the Persian Gulf, is a large city in the United Arab Emirates with several ports: Jebel Ali Port, Port Rashid and Khor Dubaï. Abras, traditional wooden water taxis, ferry passengers around Khor Dubai, providing a connection between the different districts of the city.
50 years ago, there wasn't a single building in Dubai. In 1968, there were only 13 motor vehicles on the streets. Today, the city is home to more than 400 skyscrapers, including the tallest in the world, which is visible from 90 km around: the famous Burj Khalifa tower, which is 828 m high.
Other records helped make this city famous. It has the largest man-made islands in the world, the heaviest gold ring in the world, the largest aquarium... the list goes on. Every year, residents of Dubai show up in their thousands to see camel races. The crowds go crazy, and the jockeys are nothing less than robots!
Since 2015, The Line has made wall pieces in the spirit of poetic silhouettes, which at a single stroke, cut out of metal, reveal panoramas of cities, legendary mountain tops, or even mythical music tracks visually represented by their sound waves.

Through a pure and moving design, each of you can recognize part of their own history, a memorable experience, a dream to fulfill.
The Line strongly values the craftsmanship of its products - designed and made in half a dozen workshops across France - as well as the people behind the manufacture, from SCOP (equivalent to a cooperative and participatory organization) where metal forms are cut , to the assembly of products made in an ESAT workshop (employing people with disabilities with a view to professional reintegration) in the heart of Paris.
