Etienne Hajdu: Esculturas e Desenhos
A great support in Etienne's plastic expression was drawing, in which the artist rehearsed “the space of light” as for himself and defined his search for light and shadow.
The sculptor's drawings emphasize the use of Indian ink that appears on a white background and perceives the idea of depth.
Étienne Hajdú was a Hungarian-born French sculptor of Jewish descent. After his emigration to Paris in the 1930s, he became part of the circle of Hungarian artists and writers.
