Exclusive Serralves edition, hand-drawn by Álvaro Siza and produced through screen printing and manual engraving, this work brings together art, architecture, and a reflection on form and human nature.
“Drawing is the beginning of everything.” — Álvaro Siza
Mitologia, or mythology in English, is a celebration of gesture and metamorphosis. In Álvaro Siza’s continuous line, the human and the horse intertwine — reason and instinct, balance and movement, mastery and surrender. The drawing is simple and silent, yet it carries the ancestral strength of the line that holds everything: the body, space, and time.
Each print is a fragment of this drawn thought — an extension of Siza’s gaze, where gesture transforms into memory.
