The Tote Bag "Sectional Body" is distinguished by the impression of a detail that can be seen in a sculpture by Anish Kapoor.
A practical piece to place essential belongings and take them wherever you go.
This cotton Tote Bag was developed within the scope of the exhibition "Anish Kapoor: Works, Thoughts, Experiences", representing the great annual exhibition, being on display at the Serralves Park and Museum of Contemporary Art from July 6, 2018 to February 17 of 2019.
The exhibition brought together a selection of outdoor works representative of Kapoor's sculptural language, for which materiality, scale, relationship with architecture, landscape and the observer are constitutive factors.
Few living artists of our time have achieved the recognition and notoriety of Anish Kapoor (Mumbai, 1954). His vast and significant sculptural work is conceived for and at the scale of bodies, cities and landscape, and the profusion of contexts in which he is installed, from the urban scale of metropolises such as London, Naples, New York and Chicago, to the undulating slopes from England and New Zealand.
In recent years, Kapoor has also been invited to present his work in some of the most beautiful formal gardens in the world, including London's Kensington Gardens and the Palace of Versailles.
