This oven mitt is part of a collection of accessories inspired by the work “Plantoir”.

Always looking for initiatives that promote the appreciation of its heritage, the Serralves Foundation launched in 2018 a new line of products inspired by the Plantoir work.

The Plantoir accessories line has an illustration design, in tones that refer to the landscape of Serralves Park, in which the Gardener's Spoon is inserted.

The Plantoir sculpture, by Claes Oldenburg & Coosje van Bruggen, was installed in Serralves Park for the exhibition "On the Walk of Liquidâmbares: Sculpture in the Park", in 2001.

Due to its location at the main entrance to Serralves Park, and for being visible from outside the Foundation's walls, "Plantoir" is today one of the most iconic and identifying images of Serralves.
