The conferences took place in the Serralves Auditorium on the 3rd and on 4th of November 2011, gathering French experts like André Lortie and Frédéric Bertrand, North Americans like David Brownlee, Marc Treib, Robin Karson e David Gordon(Canadá) and Portuguese experts like Teresa Andresen, Manuel Fernandes de Sá, Teresa Marques, André Tavares and Nuno Grande.
The conferences were also accompained with a small show foyer in the Auditorium, with elements related to the Jacques Gréber project and to Marques da Silva's studies, as well as the Master Plan of the City of Porto by Robert Auzelle.
Jacques Gréber was an architect who graduated from the École de Beaux Arts de Paris in 1909. A significant part of his career took place in the USA, Canada, and France, where he focused on urban planning and garden design. His intervention in Serralves in 1932 is a primary example of his work.
