To accompany the first presentation dedicated to Manoel de Oliveira’s relation with Portuguese cinema, the Serralves Foundation – Casa do Cinema has published in collaboration with João Mário Grilo and the research group Ifilnova from the Social and Human Sciences Faculty of Lisbon University, a book that features an extensive selection of documents from the Manoel de Oliveira Archive. It also includes texts by António Preto, João Mário Grilo, Liliana Rosa, Maria Irene Aparício, Patrícia Castello Branco, Ricardo Vieira Lisboa, Susana Nascimento Duarte and Susana Viegas that allow to deepen the natures of the relations that Oliveira has established with the context of national film production.
